Global Company Data is a B2B company data provider. We build custom company datasets for sales, marketing, direct mail, CRM enrichment and market research — sourced from official business registers and authoritative company-data ecosystems across 140+ jurisdictions.
Our database covers 220M+ company records across 140+ jurisdictions worldwide, with particular depth in the United States, Western Europe (UK, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France) and beyond.
Our datasets are built from official, public and authoritative company-data sources — including national business registers, regulatory records and country-specific company datasets. We do not rely on web scraping or unverified third-party aggregators for core market coverage.
Our data is collected directly from official business registers — the same authoritative sources that governments, banks and compliance teams rely on. That means the legal entity data is as accurate as the official record. What varies by country is depth: some jurisdictions publish detailed financial and officer data; others provide registration basics only. We are transparent about what is and is not available in each market, and we agree field scope upfront on every project.
Depending on the country and source, available fields include: company name, registration number, legal form, registered and postal address, industry / sector / SIC / NAICS / NACE codes, company size, employee band, revenue band, active/inactive status, incorporation date, website, phone, email (where permitted) and corporate structure data (parent, subsidiaries, officers). Available fields are confirmed per project.
Coverage and geography
Worldwide — across 140+ jurisdictions. Our primary markets with the deepest structured coverage are the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and France. Beyond these, we have strong coverage across Western Europe (Spain, Italy, Nordics, Austria, Switzerland) and availability in markets including Canada, Australia, Brazil, India, Japan, South Africa and many more. See our coverage page for a full overview with record counts by country.
Yes. Multi-country datasets are common — for example a Western Europe list combining UK, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and France. We normalise the data into a consistent structure across countries. Available fields may differ per country within the same dataset.
Delivery and process
Datasets are delivered in Excel, CSV or custom bulk formats — structured for direct import into CRM, marketing platforms or data infrastructure. API access and self-service ordering are planned for a later phase.
You define the target market: country, sector, region, company type and required fields. We prepare a sample or dataset proposal. You review the structure, available fields and delivery format. Once confirmed, we deliver the full dataset. No commitment before you have seen the data.
Yes, data samples are available on request. Once we understand your project — target market, required fields and use case — we can provide a representative sample for review. This lets you assess structure, field availability and quality before committing to a full order. Samples are prepared manually and provided as part of the quotation process.
Compliance and legal
Global Company Data processes European business data in line with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. We work with business and company data — not personal consumer data. The extent to which data fields constitute personal data depends on the country, dataset and intended use. Customers are responsible for their own use of the data in their specific context.
B2B direct mail and outreach using company registration data is a well-established and legally recognised practice in most jurisdictions. The data we provide — company names, registered addresses, sector classifications — is sourced from public business registers and is generally not considered personal data in a B2C sense. Where contact data is included (such as named individuals), we indicate this clearly. Rules vary by country and channel. We provide guidance on dataset composition; customers are responsible for their own marketing compliance.
Yes. In the Netherlands and broader EU context, this is known as a verwerkersovereenkomst. Where our processing of European personal data falls within the scope of GDPR and a data processing agreement is required, we can provide one. Whether a DPA is needed depends on the dataset, the fields involved and your use case. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.
